The recent media attack against QNET in India could be likened to the Indian version of the Ant and the Grasshopper fable. India like many other countries does not have a legislation that allows legitimate direct selling companies to thrive and punishes the deceitful pyramid schemes. And because there is no existing government regulation that fosters the growth of direct selling companies and protects their customers, it’s easy for people of power and even ordinary citizens to accuse these companies of pyramid scheming. The QNET IRs are the Ants that earned well from doing the business in good faith. The accusers and the naysayers are the Grasshoppers that have no understanding of the business but choose to continuously brand QNET as a scam.
